Good Points

-Boot space
-Ease of parking
-Comfort for front passengers
-Equipment and value for money
-Generally reliable, and great-looking


Bad Points

-Notchy gearshift- allthough not as bad as the Renault Clio
-Interior plastics are a let down
-Generally poor after-sales care


General Comments

The Citroen C2 1.1i SX is a practical, well-equipped city car with the ability to also make that occasional longer trip. The interior is spacious and comfortable (in the front), and the driving experience is precise and responsive. The C2 is effortless to drive, and great fun both inside and outside the city. My only real gripe is the after-sales caare, which was extremely poor at my local dealership. That said, the staff at another garage were very helpful and considerate. A switch in the gearbox failed after about a year, but this was soon rectified under warranty. In general, this is a car whose standard of equipment provides excellent value for money, especially if opting for the very reasonably priced luxury pack, which adds useful reversing sensors, electrically folding mirrors and leather seats to the SX model. A highly recommended city car.
