Rubbish Software
Radio doesn't work
When I bought my Philips HDD070 I had 3 priorities-
1.Sound quality
2. Memory
3.Ease of use
I got my Philips HDD070 for my birthday a year ago
Sound:
The sound quality is excellent with a bass boost that really makes a difference with a 5 set equalizer, the suppplied headphones weren't very good but a replaced them with my own.
Memory:
2GB is a little small for a hard disk player but you can still cram plenty of music on it.
Ease of use:
This is the area that lets down the player. Musicmatch jukebox is simply dire. It is locked to the player to prevent copyright.....
It takes about 20 minutes to rip a CD.
You cannot put music on your player back onto a different computer
It takes 20 minutes to get the music on the player
Overall the player itself is very good and sounds brilliant. IF you can come to terms with that dreadful software then you will have a long and prosperous relationship,.
