db59's review of Triumph Bonneville America

★★★★★

Good Points
Solid bike, great build quality. The bike handles really well and has enough power to make any ride interesting.

Bad Points
The Neutral and Turn Indicator lights on the instrument cluster are invisible in any sunlight. I rely on feel to find neutral more than the light.

General Comments
This bike attracts a crowd wherever I go. Usually it's guys who rode Triumphs in the 60s and 70s and want to talk about their old bikes. Its quieter than most v-twin cruisers but it still has a great sound with the stock pipes. I've added the Triumph Fly Screen and Sissybars with luggage rack. Everything was well made and fits well on the bike.

I found this review very helpful because...spot on about the lights being difficult to see in daylight although I have seen adverts for neon bulbs on tinternet. Don't know if they are legal though?
