Terrible customer service.
Privilege car insurance are one of the worst car insurance companies I've had the misfortune to deal with.
Reasons:
About five weeks ago I had my bumper ripped off. I reported it to the claims department at Privilege who recommended me to a car repair garage called Auto Insight of Freeth Street, Nottingham. I contacted them and they came and collected my car. When they arrived to collect my car, I told the person from Auto Insight that it had a recently had a re-spray, and I asked who did it. he said he would need to contact that person who would give them the code for the paint, or mix it up for them. Anyway, they took it away to be repaired, which I was told would take 48 hours. The day they took my car was a Friday, and on the Monday after it was a bank holiday, so that meant I would get my car back on the Wednesday, but no such look. On the following Friday I phoned Auto Insight to find out if my car was done. "No" they told me. "Why" I ask? The engineer did not come to look at the car until Wednesday, and now they are waiting for the bumper and headlight. "What headlight?" I ask. They said that the engineer said to put a new one in (it really did not need a new one). Well, 2 weeks later I got my car, or at least I thought I did! When they brought it back, on inspecting my car I noticed that the paint on the bumper did not match the rest of my car. So back to Auto Insight it went. I then got a phone call from the engineer saying they could not match the paint, so once again I told them the person that did the re-spray, and gave them his phone number. On the Friday I received a phone call from Auto Insight asking if I could collect my car. So I did. But this story does not end here...
5 weeks later I still have not got my car on the road. Thanks to Privilege! Also, the headlight was the wrong one, and the indicator that was at the side of the new light fell out, so now I have no indicator.
