The Sovereign Beach Hotel in Kardamena is a great hotel in a great location, but it was spoiled by the food! The food was very poor and the canteen was badly organised. I would not call it a restaurant. Also, the nightly entertainment was aimed mainly at the Italians.
It was a very clean hotel with a good sized pool close to the beach, and with water-sports. It is located just about the right distance from the town, which is about 15 minutes walk along the sea front past a few beach bars.
