Good Points

Accurate
Extremely well built and finished

Bad Points

$650 and that doesn't include another $200 for the pump
The BAM 50/51 knockoff is $400 less and shoots just as well

General Comments

To be truthful I own the Xisico BAM 50/51 series of PCP rifles. For those of you who don't know, these are near exact knockoffs of the Daystate Harrier .

For fun I borrowed a Daystate at a nearby shooting range. The owner got it for $400 used and thought he got a good deal. Didn't have the heart to tell him I got my knock off for $299.

While you can't argue this PCP does shoot very well, it does have a few problems:
1. Mounting a scope means loading pellets can be a chore as the scope blocks part of the breech.
2. It doesn't seem to have the velocity consistency of the BAM 50/51. I could hear the difference in the report from shot to shot. Some zinged out at what appeared to be high velocity while others just barely seemed to make it to the target 50 yards down range (after a full charge of air).
3. You can easily shell out a grand by the time you get a new rifle and air pump assembly and that's a little on the high end. My BAM cost $500, fully equipped with scope, scope plate, thumbhole stock, and air pump. The Daystate is $650 in plain dress.

On the plus side, the Daystate can be had in .25 while the BAM series is .177 or .22 only.
