None whatsoever.
Poor quality vehicles.
In November 2003 I purchased a vehicle from Approved Car Finance. In March this year the car was written off. I purchased gap insurance at the time of buying the car, and going to claim the shortfall has been a complete nightmare, currently leaving me with the prospect of being 2.5k in debt. It seems that those smart folks at ACF decided to take out finance in my name (with my consent), but took the gap insurance out with a company of their choice who has subsequently gone bust. I have found the company that is looking after this (NIG if anyone else needs this info) on my own, let ACF know who it is for future purposes but discover that apparently ACF have only ever had a 24 month deal with them. I have called ACF on many occasions to try and resolve but they will not return my call, I have told them that I am going to consult a solicitor but they still ignore me - I am now in a position where the finance company are going to take me to court over this but why should I pay for something that I am supposedly covered for? ACF are shocking - I also had a bad experience last year where I was considering changing my vehicle and they practically forced me to pay a deposit on a car I didn't really want - I had to drag my hubby and kids there the next day to get the money back and they STILL tried to sell a car to me - what a complete joke. Even if you are amazingly desperate, don't shop with them, you will end up regretting it.
