Good Points

This TV was HD! It's 30", and it was only £450 from Asda! WHAT A BARGAIN! And the picture quality... Well let's just say it's better than HD.

Bad Points

Not much to say here really. Apart from, it does not have any control panel on the front of the TV. The only way to control it is by a remote. VERY frustrating if you lose the remote.

General Comments

Baier TV's are good quality. It has picture in picture stuff, great sound, It's HD and has an HDMI socket. It also has a manual Y P VR HD connection, 3 scart ports. It is very flat, LCD and it has great interfaces.

Where can you get a bracket to put this TV on the wall? - I cant find any that work.

I don't know. Baier Company (Formally known as a working title 'Asda Wal*Mart') didn't say anything on getting a wall bracket. Try taking easurments and slots and maybe you might find the right measurment and fitting for the bracket slots in the back. Also check on the internet for companys that do custom fittings for a small charge. Hope this helps.

Hi, i purchased a Baier TV from Asda but i dont know the code to get it to work with Sky Digital remote control. I tried everywhere but no luck. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, this type of TV is the kind that is made by a supermarket company. This means they basically put no money into their electrics and therefore have no support for the customers. The Baier TV does not work with universal remotes as to most people the company 'Baier' Is unknown. If you loose the remote, you are in trouble! Hope this helps!

Thanks for that! bEst i glue the remote to the arm of my sofa!

Is there an on off switch as at present we have to leave in on standby which causes me concern. Can anyone please help?

  • adamswapitshop Rank: Sergeant on 17th Mar 2007

    Nope, Sorry...

There is no Off button on the Baier TV, only the Standby button on the remote...

To save on electricity, we switch it off from the wall.
