The balance transfer from an existing card went through smoothly.
If you make your payments on time, they'll change the monthly payment date and slap you with fines.
The Virgin credit card telephone handling system is convoluted, and MBNA who actually issue and maintain the card will randomly change the due date of the payments (bringing them forward). If you don't read your statement carefully you won't notice the brought forward date, and you will get slapped with a £25 handling fee and they will revert you back to their 15.9% rate. It happened to me.
Incidentally, they were happy to put the payment date back to the old date once the £25 charge and 15.9% interest had been applied. So why change the date? I'll leave it to you...
