Good Points

Fairly simple to use, and it takes good quality movies. Offers ISO settings of up to 1600 (although the images can be pretty noisy).

Bad Points

Very disappointing camera. Offers up to 5 mega-pixels (in fine or normal mode), but some how manages to soften out all the pictures it takes, so they end up looking kind of chalky and lack any detail.

They look deceptively clear on the good large camera screen, but looking at them on a PC, the quality is noticeably soft and distorted (kind of like bad jpeg artifacting, or using some sort of "smoothing" filter in Photoshop).

General Comments

The good points of the Fuji Finepix Z2 digital camera (clear movies, range of features) outweigh the bad (takes soft/distorted looking photos). It is not worth it when my 3 year old Minolta Dimage 400 takes clearer and more detailed photos, despite only offering 4 mega-pixels.
