Good Points

The location is fabulous. You've got the option of going onto the strip if you want, and the beach is literally straight behind the hotel, so no walking is required at all.


Bad Points

We had to pay for the use of the sunbeds around the pool, and we thought this was absolutely disgusting. I have never had to pay for the use of sunbeds apart from on the beach!!! I can understand if you are not staying there and are using the beds, but otherwise it's ridiculous!
Air conditioning in the room was also chargeable, and if you paid for it you only had the option of hiring one fan for the whole room. To access the television in the room you also needed to pay for the remote to work, and there were only two English channels.
The food was of very poor quality, and out of all the staff possibly only 3 members spoke to us, and everyone else was very rude!


General Comments

I think for a hotel that has this type of high quality reputation surrounding it, the Club Royal Beach in Magaluf was a very big let down. If we had been told by the travel company that a lot of things were chargeable we would have taken more money with us to accommodate for this.

It is very nicely situated and the noise didn't bother us, but that was only if you had a quiet room. It looks very nice and it is kept generally clean, but the extra charges and rudeness of the staff generally spoilt any good points. We stayed for 11 nights and not once did we have our sheets changed. I possibly would go back to Magaluf, but definitely not to this hotel!
