General Comments

When I got the Air Arms TX200 MkIII from my local gun shop I new that this gun was well made just by the weight of the box. It was very heavy, I got it home and opened the box there it was, all covered in bubble wrap. I peeled away the bubble wrap and there it was, I took it out of the box and just spent about ten minutes just looking at it with it's deep bluing and walnut stock it just looked beautiful.
I could't wait to fire it first I mounted on my combo and I was ready. I pulled the lever down and it clicked four times 3 for the bear trap and one for the sear I put my pellet in pushed the bear trap in and swung up the underlever I was ready I took of the saftey and pulled the trigger. I fired it over my crono 13.123fp I was happy with the power but the factory set trigger seamed to be a little heavy for me. So I went on internet and found a web page all on the TX200 trigger so I followed the steps and now it is like a pre charged trigger light and crisp perfect but then after a couple of shots the trigger was heavy again. So I had to redo my steps and set the trigger again and now it is back to normal.
The accuaracy is spot on I can cut through a piece of string at 100ft every shot, the weight of the gun healps with the recoil (a bit).
The build quality is faultless, the wood is perfect and there are no blemishes on the bluing. The rifle is one of the best that I have ever owned. If you are looking for a gooD springer why not buy the best buy a TX200 they are a tad on the expensive side £300 for beech and £360 for walnut

What calibre did you get your rifle in and do you recommend it? Also I was wondering if our rifle was the FAC version or not - seeing as it is putting out slightly over 13fp. Thanks in advance mikeywest

Hmmm, well my TX200 is a .177 and I know what you mean about the power - mine is putting out a power of 14.34ft and I did not buy mine as a FAC rifle, I would recommend this rifle as one of the best spring guns that you can buy but it depends on what you want to do with it, if you are going hunting then it may be a little on the loud side even with the internal silencer so you may scare away your quarry - on the other hand if you are using it for target shooting it is very accurate but cocking after every shot is a bit boring. If i had to choose between this or a S410 I would have to pick the S410 just because I am lazy and cant be bothered cocking a spring gun.
