Good Points

They get you reservations, and they are very polite.

Bad Points

Other black cards are now on the market. People get confused. I am no longer treated special (though I don't believe I should be).

General Comments

Reading these reviews, I have one comment. The United States needs royalty, or at least a House of Lords. People are craving prestige, some way to distinguish themselves from the masses. The government should hand out a few "Sirs" or "Barons" and then people can show this off in stores. I used my American Express Centurion card at Tiffany's in New York City; the Sony Shop; and a couple of restaurants. No one said a word or batted an eye. I guess I am simply unimpressive.

Where are you from? Don't you know that the USA is a very shallow and superficial place?

The black card is like clothes -- you have to wear the clothes and not let the clothes wear you. If you don't play the part the card isn't going to get you over!!
