Good Points

The holiday was fantastic, and it was made so by the ever obliging staff. Very little on the menu for vegetarians, but each morning the chef would find me during breakfast, show me the menu and ask what I would like for the evening meal. All the staff, without exception, were courteous and considerate. The weather was a bit iffy since it was coming into winter, but overall it was wonderful.


Bad Points

A few of the guests stacked their towels on the sunbeds before breakfast, and then proceeded to spend the morning on the beach. We found this attitude selfish and inconsiderate. However, after a word to the manager, this ceased to some extent. We found it incredible that parents were reserving sunbeds for children!! (Guess what nationality they were)?


General Comments

Our holiday to Mauritius was an excellent holiday, which could only have improved had the Le Palmar Beach been an adult only resort. We specifically booked before school holidays, but there were a number of small children who weren't kept under control by their parents, and they ran around the dining room and pool area. One party of adults took advantage of the unlimited drinks and caused a scene while drunk, but this was quickly quashed by a waitress possessing excellent customer service skills and quick witted comments. The accommodation and location were stunning, providing everything one could wish for.

    My partner & I are hoping to book this hotel shortly - I was impressed by the reviews that have been given. We have holiday in Mauritius before and have found ever hotel we have stayed at to have been of excellent standard and the staff fantastic.

    Can't wait to book my holiday now.
