Good Points

Loyal, loving, gentle, and they have a sense of humour. Energetic and courageous. Incredibly intelligent. Also very sensitive to your moods.


Bad Points

Lots of grooming required.


General Comments

Poodles are a great companion, and they are also loyal and protective. They have boundless energy until they hit double figures, and then it begins to wain a little. Courageous and highly intelligent. Give them a treat one day and they try the "I am not eating ever again unless I get the same treat as yesterday" trick. Don't fall for it or they will have you in the palm of their paws. When you are poorly they go quiet and soulful. Laugh and they spring all over the place and smile with you. Shout and they think the world is over.
