Sales Rep did not know what he was selling. Didn't explain controls.
I bought a Mini from Motorpoint which I was told was not an import. The sales rep didn't even know if it was a Mini one or a Mini cooper! After a long debate with colleagues and family I stupidly decided to buy it (they all said the wouldn't touch it with a long stick) I picked up my Mini on Christmas Eve at 18.00 hours. I was ushered to the car park, given the keys and the rep then walked off back to his office. The car was filthy, I also paid 60 odd pounds for some imaginary valeting. I wasn't even told how the controls worked, lights etc. Just left to go home in my new dirty car. The car was sold to me untaxed, so I was driving home in a car that I was only just learning to use and was illegal !!! I later found out that the car was in fact an import, not only that but that it was 01 manufactured on an 03 plate !!!! I discovered the electric window would not open and that the boot leaked in causing my parcel shelf to expand and that the boot wouldn't close. In short I would not go near Motorpoint again. Not even with a long stick!!! Be Warned - leave this place well alone.
