Good Points

Good points are that the overall plot was a good one and was interesting.

Bad Points

Bad points?? there are so many. Firstly the whole story was rather vague and had no good description of feelinggs felt by people, or of the events which took place in the bk. Secondly it's far too fast paced, the author simply does not develop the story well, she just rushes through the whole thing. Fast paced books are reliable for murder scenes of adventurous book, not for books which involve the reader looking back on what she did in the past, it's just not effective. Last and certainly not least the book was far too simple and I doubt that it could be classified as a young adults book, as a mere 6 year old could read it easily. I'm rubbish at English and read this last year and even I was surprised at how easy and simple the vocab and descriptions used were. If this is the standard of a YOUNG ADULTS book, its certainly not doing much for teenagers as it does not encourage them to maximise the vocab they use.

General Comments

Anne Cassidy, Looking For JJ was rubbish, just not well written out. I don't even think it was realistic enough, as the girl featured in the book who killed her friend when she was younger is living a life of secrecy. Noone know what she has done in the past. I can't believe the fact that people don't even recognise her from the posters which are said to be put up in the book. Overall it is the worst book I've ever read!!!!!

I agree with this review because in my opinion, this book is appalling and I totally agree as I think a 6 year-old could describe this book more vividly.
