Overall Rating
- Customer Service

- Ease of use

Barclays Bank are very easy to use. The staff are always trained to a high standard, and their customer service is second-to-none. The telephone banking is excellent, and their staff are always friendly and are based in the UK, unlike what the other people who have written reviews have said.
Bad Points
They could be more competitive with their interest rates, although I have just signed up to a 10% regular savings account (very good).
General Comments
I have been banking with Barclays since I was 13, and I am now 23. I have always had great advice and help from the staff, i.e. help in buying my first car/house and advice on savings accounts. I have never had any problems with the bank in any part of my every day banking, i.e. paying in money, and using their telephone or online banking. The other comments I have read on this site regarding Barclays do not create a true picture of the service that I have received.
I would honestly recommend Barclays Bank with no hesitation whatsoever.

My experience over many years with Barclays has been very good. Of course they make mistakes they are only human.
The only problem is they are so big and not all the staff knows their jobs as well as they should. Perhaps more training.
