Good Points

I have been a professional photographer for 25 years, and I can honestly say that this is the best yet for weddings. The quality is breathtaking, so much so, that I have come to the step of ditching my medium format cameras and settling myself to the EOA 5D as the main wedding camera and the IDMK 2 for very high quality work, which I do not use very often, and come back to the 5D for its speed of use, which is way beyond my imagination of digital.


Bad Points

The instruction manual is next to useless. If I had not worked the 1D M2 I would be looking for a more advanced manual. The fact that Canon leaves so much to the imagination is not for the faint of heart. More camera practical information is very badly needed from the manual.


General Comments

The Canon EOS 5D is a first class digital camera when used with the Canon specified lenses for this camera.

Image quality is superb, without producing too much unnatural, unwanted, over the top contrast and resolution.
