STOP PRESS!
Henry now has a metal tube!!!
I read online reviews before I bought my Henry Hound and several people mentioned they felt let down by the rather bendy plastic tube.
Well I orded mine anyway and it has lovely rigid black metal tube.
I thoght the suction wasnt great at first but then discovered that I hadn't closed the lid properly after checking the bag! what a difference that made.
There is a little upholstery tool that has detachable slide on/off bristles.
if you use this in a sideways motion, the bristley thing slides off.
OK just going back and forth.
I am surprised at how little dirt there seems to be in the HHR200 bag compared to my Dyson.
I wonder is that because it isn't as good at picking up the dirt or was the upright Dyson gobbling lots of carpet at the same time?
I wanted a bagless type cylinder but was convinced by a frined to go for a Henry Hound after I borrowed hers.
The icing on the cake is that I have found a company on the net that makes zipable, re-usable ,washable bags for Henry so I have sent for 2 of those.
