None.
They never call you back. They lose your payments, and then they blame you when they lose the payments, which then affects your credit rating.
I got one of the new i24 Morgan Stanley credit cards with an annual fee of £235, which comes with a number of benefits like concierge service world wide, no commission on overseas transactions, and a new level of service like you have never experienced before. Well, they got that bit right.
Just a few months after taking this card I now regret having paid out the annual fee. The service is terrible! They lost my second payment, which I made over the phone using my debit card. It took them 3 weeks to find the payment, and despite several promises, the card remained blocked. Last week I was in Dubai. The day before I went I was promised by a supervisor that the card was now ready to go. I explained that I wanted to use the card to take advantage of the 0% commission charge. Checking into the hotel with my work associates, my card was refused. I called from Dubai and was told that they had applied the payment to my account but they had not activated it. They could not explain why!
I never managed to get to speak to a manager, as he/she was either out, on the phone or not available. There were several promises that a manager would call back, but that never happened either. Finally, I got my card unblocked and received an offer of compensation of £50. Well, I say offer, but I had to call, as yet again Morgan Stanley failed to call me back. I think this is an insulting offer, but I just want to put the whole thing behind me now, though I will be amazed if the £50 appears on my card.
As for the concierge service, when calling from Dubai a stroppy young man on the phone asked if I had other cards, I replied yes and then asked what would happen if I did not. His reply - I can't answer that as it is a hypothetical question!
