Good Points

Great view - best in Pefkos.
Cleanest rooms I have seen.
Has a bath and shower rather than just a wetroom.
Friendly bar staff, and good choice and portions of food available for "pool days".


Bad Points

Real trek to the town and beach, down a hill of about a 10-15 degree gradient, and coming back is a killer - Taxi!!!!
Kosmars complaints procedure (hence the poor customer service rating).


General Comments

The accommodation at Dimitris Studios in Pefkos was superb, and the view was amazing. It could have done with a toaster or grill, but the 2 hotplates can be put to good use. Food in the area is relatively well priced and very good quality (apart from the Blue Bay that advertises English sausages and then doesn't deliver).

St Thomas Beach is great for a spot of fishing off the rocks. The beach, which is well looked after, has a good choice of food from the cafe.

Air conditioning is recommended as the temperature didn't get below 30 during the day, and it was very hot in the evenings, so it was difficult to sleep. It was 55 Euros a week for the air conditioning.

Restaurants to visit - Shanghai Indian (although even the Tiger wasn't very hot, the tastes more than made up for it). Piazza next to Eclipse bar for very very good Italian. 2 Brothers for great Greek dishes and grilled meats. Nostalgia, a little more expensive but amazing quality, go for the Sea Bass as it is out of this world.

Pefkos by night - the bar is a good bar, as it is fully air conditioned with a large variety of drinks.

Kosmar were not the best though, as they sent us on THE worst excursion ever (Knights of Rhodes I think it was called), and then we could not ask for our money back until we got home, so we were down nearly a 100 Euros. They just kept saying that it was procedure, even after a long chat with the manager.

Get a car for a few days, as a hire car is very good value (3 days for 45 Euros for a little run about), and you can see the whole Island in very little time. Great for photos. Taxi's also cheap to neighboring Lardos and Lindos, costing around 6 Euros.
