General Comments
Zirtek are a good non-drowsy hayfever tablet that work quickly and efficiently. However, I have found, as with many other anti-histamine medications, that your body soon becomes used to them and their effectiveness tends to lessen.
I now tend to rotate my anti-histamine medications on a seasonal basis to prevent this occurrence, and it seems to work.
As with other non-drowsy anti-histamines the cost can be quite steep, especially on heavy days when you need multiple tablets to have any effect.
I see the patents on many of these are starting to wear off, and supermarkets now stock generic brands.
