General Comments

Belfast International Airport has a large and clean check-in area, and even when it is busy it is still stress free. The airport seems very well planned out, as it is very easy to find your way around. The terminal has recently had a major face lift, and Starbucks etc can be found here now.

There is an extensive range of domestic destinations, a good range of European destinations, and transatlantic destinations such as New York served by Continental and Vancouver and Toronto by Zoom. Picking up the luggage after the flight was so fast, and there is a bus every 10 minutes to Belfast city centre.

Is this the airport that's been re-named after ol Georgie Best?

No, Belfast International airport has not been named after George Best, however Belfast City airport (a smaller airport in Belfast with only domestic flights) has been named George Best Belfast City Airport.
