Good Points

Will approve on less-than-great credit
Easy to apply
Easy to call and talk to someone


Bad Points

Very late on loan check disbursement. When you do call and talk to someone, they are not knowledgeable. When you speak to a "supervisor", they make excuses. 5 different stories on 5 different attempts to find out about late loan disbursement.


General Comments

I had a horrible time with Loan to Learn! The application and approval process was like butter, but I had to wait almost a month for the check. Every time I called and spoke with customer service I got a different story. Either they were having "problems with their server" or "the last batch of checks came out with the wrong routing number". They came up with some pretty good excuses, but thinking about it, nothing made sense. Also, they supposedly ship out checks through FedEx, but ask them for a tracking number, and, "well, we just got new software, and the tracking feature doesn't work yet".

If you need a student loan quickly (bills/tuition due), you would be better to go with someone else!
