General Comments

The Philips Freevents x52 is an excellent ultra ultra portable laptop. Screen size is a bit of a pain but you get used to it using at max res 1280x800. The only downside is the lack of bluetooth and an IR port but the wireless 802.11 a/b/g makes up for it. The card reader is a nice touch but I would rather the bluetooth.
Speed is excellent. For a sensible sized laptop bag - go for one for the mac

I have owned a Philips Freevents x52 laptop since May 2006. It really is an outstanding machine for the price, despite it having no Bluetooth or IR.

My only complaint would be the quality of the top. It seems to scratch and lose its silver finish far too easily.
