Trigger is very well balanced pull wise.
Gun is well balanced overall.
Quality and build is very good.
Easy to cock
Plastic trigger and gaurd.
Light kick which takes some time getting use to.
Trigger has some slack but just takes a little time to get used to.
Picked up the Beeman SS1000 (.22 cal) a few days ago and overall I'm very happy with this purchase. The rifle overall is a quality piece and there are only a couple things I would change to make it a perfect gun (will get to that later). Accuracy using the 3-9 x 32 scope is very impressive for a gun that's just $145 and easy to obtain! At 20 yards when sighted this gun has no trouble making very tight groups with many shots hitting the same hole or touching it. At first you may feel accuracy is poor since the rifle does have a little kick to it. With a firm grip and very little practice it is no longer a problem and shot placement can be dead on. The power of this rifle is perfect for target shooting or hunting. The rifle is very well balanced from front to back and is not too light or heavy. In my opinion 95% of adult shooters will agree. Cocking the rifle is also easy. I can do it all day long without getting tired. So far I have tested the RWS Super Hollow Point Pellet and the Beeman Silver Arrow's. The RWS pellets shot the best so far for close range (under 30 yards) and the Beeman pellets for long range. I will try some RWS Pointed pellets to see if those work better than the Beeman's. My only complaint is that the trigger and guard are made of plastic and the trigger has a little creep/slack to it but is not a big deal once you get use to it. It would be nice if they offered an option for a nickle finished barrel. Overall this gun is a solid performer and at it's price you will be even happier after you shoot this rifle because it is definitely an awesome bargain.
