General Comments

In general I'm satisfied with CX4300. It's light, easy to use and take ok pictures. But if you want to take more advanced pictures you will discover some of the cameras bad points. It does not store all your personal settings, i.e. if you want to use exposure compensation or select some other flash settings than auto, the camera goes back to default settings if you turn it off (or in some cases after one picture taken). The camera is not suitable if you are into nightshots (without flash). Bad light sensitivity on the ccd (?) or too short exposure times makes it almost impossible to take good night shoots. The exposure time could probably (?) be fixed if Kodak updated the firmware. But I guess most people take pictures of their kids and cats in daylight ; )

Tips : ) you can use the camera memory as an portable drive to you computer. When connected to you PC open up windows explorer and you will find the camera. Now you can copy any kind of file (max 8 letters in file name) into the camera memory and upload to any computer with the correct usb cable and your camera driver. You can use the remaining free memory for pictures. Files can only be deleted via explorer or by formatting the camera memory.
