Titleist's offering in the mid range ball category selling usually for around £22 a dozen at the moment.
The two variants differ slightly with the NXT a distance 2 piece and the NXT Tour a control / feel 3 piece.
I play the Tour ball and have done for a year and a half now. I chose a ball that would help my game, last a few rounds and not too expensive and it wins on all fronts. I have not even considered changing and dont plan to either!
The NXT Tour is a fabulous ball, a slightly soft feel from the tee (I always liked the almost springy feel, it generates confidence in the ball to do the work not me so i remain calmer) but not the longest ball you'll hit. However, I hit the ball quite far anyway so wanted more control into greens and again this ball does just that.
The soft feel certainly helps my short game and putting is a dream.
If you are a sub 18 player who is budget conscious and wants to find consistency with a ball you should give this one a go, it wont disappoint.
