Good Points

They are comfortable, but that's not all you're looking for in a pair of headphones.

Bad Points

When compared to similarly priced sets, they stand out as considerably worse. The sound is weak - there is no bass, the middle distorts, and the treble is tinny.

General Comments

I would not recommend the AKG K66 headphones to anyone. They are very large, so look bad, they sound pretty awful, and there are much better options available. I have used them with Aviom personal mixers in a band setting, and found that a similar pair, the Panasonic RP-HT225E-K, had a superior sound (if you want closed backs), and the Grado SR60 were even better for this context (though not suitable for everyone - they are open resonance, so everyone can hear what you're listening to, and they sit on the ear so they allow you to hear sounds around you... but they sound wonderful!).
