Good Points

Searching names. You can search against First Name, Surname, or Company name, which is better than most Nokia's.


Bad Points

Not Reliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Generally, the phone locks or turns off, or the screen goes black.
I've had 4 software updates, and each time I have got better reliability, but it has never fixed all the problems. It can often overload the memory when trying to view photos or play MP3's.


General Comments

Several features are missing on the Nokia 3230 mobile phone compared to my previous Nokia 6310i.
1. Screen lock time-delay (not included)
2. Birthdays don't synchronise between Calendar & Address Book
3. Can't search in Calendar

Generally, this is good as a phone, and the camera is good quality. HOWEVER, most other functionality is variable. It is great when it works, but 50% of the time it just crashes.
