General Comments

I've had the Samsung E530 mobile phone for just over a year. I bought it on pay as you go from O2. I don't really do contracts, so I just buy new phones every 12 months because I have an O2 online SIM (£10 a month for 300 texts). The time has come for a new phone, because basically, I'm bored with this one! This phone would be fantastic if it had more memory. I've got about 20 pictures, 3 videos and 15 MP3 songs on it, and I can't get anything else on because the memory is full. It has started to work really slow (going through the menus). I want all the features from this phone on my next phone, but with a memory card slot, and I am looking at either a Sony Ericsson W810i or a Nokia 6280. I can't decide.

The signal on this phone is quite bad. I never usually have full bars where I live, but I'm lucky to get even one bar with this phone, and it's not enough to hold a conversation.

Text messaging is easy enough, but there is only enough room to store 200 messages, which I don't think is a lot.

The picture quality is quite good, and I've sent some of the pictures to my computer via bluetooth, and the quality is OK.

The MP3 player is very good, and the sound through the headphones (included) is excellent, although you can't have the headphones plugged in when the phone is in the mini case that you get with it, which I think is a bit silly.

When the phone is in my bag and it rings, I never hear it. It's a good job I can feel it vibrating!

You can't use an MP3 for a text message alert, and you have to use the ones already on the phone, and they're not that good!

The good definitely outweigh the bad though!
