Bad Points

The print head is most unreliable and Machine Error 41(print head failure) is known instantly to all service agent and suppliers. Brother know this is a design fault and have replaced mine once f.o.c. but the new one did very little work before it also expired, but as you would expect Brother have now said "don't bother us again" we are not doing any more free replacements and it will cost £90+ for a new head plus £78 for their nominated agent to install it. I think I will buy new from a reputable manufacturer. P.S that excludes Cannon who are also a bit iffy when it comes to spares and guarantee times.


General Comments

I bought Brother DCP4020C on the recommendation of a dealer who also sold other products and thought that on this basis he would suggest the best.however you can not be sure of a dealers reasons(profit margins?) the best recommendations probably come from users
