Slim, small and easy to use.
Good image quality in daylight.
Bad Points
Terrible red eye when photographing light eyes, especially blue and green. It is a terrible shame, as this problem is normally mainly associated with cheaper brands.
General Comments
Although I am very pleased overall with the Canon Ixus 40 digital camera, it is not recommended because of the terrible red eye problem from a reputed manufacturer such as Canon.
PS: The Red Eye setting has absolutely no effect.
