General Comments

I have just got back from staying at the Walt Disney Santa Fe Hotel in Paris. It's pretty much a mixed review really.

ROOMS:-
The rooms were adequate, with each room having two double beds. There were not really any extras. No kettle, and the TV stations in English are limited to 3 or 4. There was no safe either (although this can be ordered at reception). The walls are quite thin, so if you have noisy neighbours (which we did for two nights) then it can be a bit of a problem. But overall, the cleanliness of the room and its presentation was good.

FOOD & RESTAURANT:-
The biggest bad point for this hotel was the restaurant. Breakfast was nice, but the pastry selection consists of chocolate croissants, plain croissants or little rolls. You have three choices of cereal, three choices of yoghurt's, and the queues to get breakfast are awful. We decided to try dinner on our last night, and the selection was very good, but again it was pure mayhem to get any food, and then finding somewhere to sit was also an issue. Not a very nice atmosphere for a nice meal, but it is adequate if you're not looking for anything fancy. The drinks prices were through the roof, with a pint of beer costing over 5 Euros. This is evident throughout the whole park though, so it is not just a bad point for the Santa Fe.

GENERAL:-
The hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from the parks, and it is a really nice walk as well, so not an issue there. It's not the nicest looking of Hotels, and with the Cheyenne directly opposite offering Western Themed accommodation, this hotel easily gets put to shame. On the plus side, for the kids there were always Disney characters in the lobby at different times of the day, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

There is a games room, but the prices for using any of the facilities there start at 2 Euros, so it is not the cheapest of entertainment.

Would I stay here again? Yes, I think I would, as it is a good base for the parks. It's the cheapest of the Disney Hotels, and the food was of good quality. It's just a shame about the way the restaurant side of things is handled. If you can put up with the hustle and bustle of a very busy buffet then you should be fine staying here.
