Good Points

Has a nice kick to it when leaving the traffic lights.


Bad Points

Not sure if there is enough space but here goes: starter very rarely works. Kick start pedal wears down after about six months of kick starting. Shuts down when it wants to making you look an idiot on the roads. Can't fit helmet in seat compartment. Is well know as a hypacondriac bike at the garage because when it breaks down there never seem to be anything wrong.


General Comments

There are so many more better bikes than the Peugeot Looxor out there. If you want a 100cc what's the point you might as well get a 125cc because the most I got out of a 50cc was 45mph and the looker cries when it hits 55mph. If you are a mug enough to buy it then make sure it has a warranty because I've been told it's claimed £700 in warranty claims. I've had to call the AA twice. First time was when the bike died and couldn't be kick started turned out to be the spark plugs. Second time was when it cut out on me and this time was a fault in the pistons and compression and spent 2 weeks in repairs. Now the bike has got practically a new engine I took it on a 30 mile run. Seemed ok but guess what? I was doing full throttle at 55mph and it kept dropping speed and then picking up giving the impression it was going to stall and this was on flat road. In all honesty this bike will make you a confident rider because the amount of times I've had to deal with cars parping me cause I'm too slow and overtaking is ridiculous.
