New, better kingpin, best manufactured trucks in existence, lighter than previous models.
Bad Points
Hmmm (itches head) still a bit heavy, a bit 'plain', and creaky bushings after a while.
General Comments
Independent trucks. Ride the best, they're hot as anything. Require no other. The Independent Truck company always means the best quality. It's the company that has skaters in mind, the company that knows what skaters want, and exactly how to give it to them. The stage 9 trucks still feature the Independent quick action geometry as seen on previous models, but are made with pure 4400 Chrome, making them lighter, stronger, and better. Nothing else compares.
They're the best trucks out there, not because they have holes in them, not because they have plastic bits, or have super light 'weapons grade aluminium', all of which have rubbish quality, will fail quickly, and break fast, they're the best because the workers that made them in San Francisco know exactly what to do. A pro cook is better than You, and an Independent truck worker is better than another brands workers.
The trucks, unlike krux, are clear printed, with proper machines. the krux logo on the base look disfigured, whilst the Independent iron cross is perfectly printed. Signs of quality. Riding Independent trucks gives a feeling of pure brilliance, and the lastability of the trucks just goes to show that all else is obsolete.
Independent trucks; get some!
