As above really, I felt like I had wasted my money when I went to Old Trafford, far too over priced

Poor games? I can only presume you were watching England at Old Trafford then...

Sounds about right coming from a Liverpool supporter :)

Not a very helpful review, seems to be more a dig at Man Utd than a review about the Old Trafford stadium.

New easy access stadium? Whats new about Old Trafford? Its been around a fair few years I believe.

I can honestly say that I have never had any problems with the stewarding at Old Trafford having been a fair few times. Searching on entry to the ground I think is common practice at most football stadiums to my knowledge. I get searched at every ground which I attend, including non league grounds.

It has to be said though the atmosphere is not as good as it once was. With the ever increasing ticket prices forcing out 'real supporters' and some of the faithful choosing not to pay the Glazer's debt it has gone somewhat downhill. It appears as though this is common throughout the Premiership however and not just at Old Trafford. It seems as though its only a matter of time before a foreign millionaire is the owner of every Premiership club, which is disheartening.

That being said though I would not describe the atmosphere as poor. I have been to numerous 'low key' games at Old Trafford and the atmosphere has been quite decent, particularly over in the Stretford End, no prawn sandwiches there.

The cost of a match day I believe is too expensive, which sadly doesn't look like changing now that the club is owned by somebody only intent on making a profit. That being said however the tickets are good value in comparison to most other Premiership clubs. Statistics in 2005 showing that Arsenal, Birmingham, Chelsea, Fulham, Tottenham, West Brom and West Ham charging about £50 or more for match tickets which I think is a disgrace.

I would also disagree with the poor games comment. The football played at Old Trafford is arguably the most entertaining in the Premiership, with Man Utd adopting a very passing, attack minded approach
