General Comments

I like this Brother MFC 4820c 'all in one' machine, just wish it was more reliable. Had 'error code 41' which needs an engineer to come and change the print head - and mine has gone twice in a few months!!
Used loads of ink, and seems to need cleaning very often which uses ink.
Will only take normal thin paper - I can't use my slightly thicker letter heads in this machine, when it will work fine in my HP Laserjet...
Lots of the features are hidden deep in the menu system which can be fiddly to find, but to be fair most similar machines are the same, and some of the main functions have dedicated buttons on the front.
Apart from that it does everything else you will need, and if you find a cheap one (still under guarantee) then I would think about buying it. However, I can't help but think there are better made and more reliable machines out there.
