I found Lloyds to be very unhelpful
My partner is self employed, and the Lloyds business account was doing OK; not holding hoards of money, but not regularly overdrawn. However, we lost a large client last month which has left us a little bit short, and therefore our account has been overdrawn. Lloyds sent a letter telling us to call and they would see what they could do to help. We explained about the client leaving and that we were expecting four new smaller ones by the end of June, and we asked for help until then. Our manager flatly refused and said they would be closing our account next month. Why write and offer help then deny it when the situation is explained to them. They are not at all bothered about your business needs. We will be looking for another bank and moving our personal accounts, including my savings, away from Lloyds.
