General Comments

The Mercure Diar El Andalous in Sousse is not 5 Star at all. It has very basic rooms and the food was repetitive. The cleaner left our door open after cleaning, and the movie channel reception is bad. There was no entertainment at night, and staff seem to knock and walk in the room at the same time! We were very let down, and even the tour operators were very bad.

Voyages Nord Afric-Tunisia were meant to pick us up from the airport, but they left without us because we had to get our Visas at the airport, and they decided not to wait. We went to the information booth at the airport and they rang the company, who then told us to get a taxi to the hotel and they would reimburse us. This was a 2 hour and 110 euro trip, which then they refused to reimburse. When they transferred us back to airport at end of our trip they only had a Toyota Echo for 4 people and luggage, so she had to call another car (the same size) which took the other couples luggage, then it took off and 4 of us had to squeeze into this small car for 2 hours. Then the driver was so slow we nearly missed our plane.
