Good Points

The print quality is fantastic.
Built-in card reader


Bad Points

Expensive original replacement ink.
Bulky.

Cheap quality LCD screens which will not last you more than 15 months.


General Comments

As an all in one this Epson RX600 is more of a printer with bits added to it and a fancy new display screen to allow it to act an "All-in-one" "all-on-it's-own" ie independant of a PC.

Don't go anywhere near it. I fell for the good reviews back in Dec 2004. I'll admit I was happy with it until the screen went the other day. Believe me I'm not the only one to be hit by this. It ain't just a bad batch, this is just cheap part selection.

We need laws which protect the environment from the throw away society in which we live in. Parts for these devices should be readily available to those who don't want to pay £100+ for repair.

I mean c'mon you want to charge me £70 to tell me that the LCD is dead, I can see that for my own eyes! Let me just buy the screen for £25 and fit it myself!
