The interest rate is good.
Communication at every level, be it internet, phone, fax or letter, and if you haven't got decent communication, you've got huge problems!
Faxes and letters go missing, phone calls are not returned. I've been trying to close my two Alliance & Leicester accounts for over a month. I have just succeeded with one, but the other one is stuck in the system. If you want a model of incompetence, look no further than A&L Commercial Bank.
