Fun. Superb 657cc three cylinder turbo engine. Removable hardtop roof. Great handling and nippy performance. Cheap to run. Very Rare.
Some rust problems on rear brake discs. I wouldn't want to be in a crash in one (very small with little or no safety features)
I owned a Suzuki Capuccino as my only car for 8 years...... it was one of the funnest cars I have ever had the pleasure of driving!.
Although the small engine only puts out 63bhp its enough to give this lightweight car plenty of go..... I could keep up with and sometimes beat Mazda MX5s!. The rear wheel drive and fantastic steering feedback make the Cappuccino a joy to drive at the limit..... on twisty country roads it could keep up with much faster cars, only losing ground on long straights.
The boot is only large enough to store the three removeable roof panels so it won't suit anyone needing to transport furniture (buy a Volvo!). Talking of the roof this is one of the Cappuccinos most ingenious features..... the three panels allow you to run the car as a closed coupe, a T-bar, Targa or full convertible.
The Cappuccino is also cheap to run as it does an average of 36mpg (50mpg on a long motorway run) and qualifies for the cheapest road tax rate due to its miniture engine.
Overall a superb little car that I'd recomend to anyone looking for something fun and out of the ordinary!
