Good Points

Fun. Superb 657cc three cylinder turbo engine. Removable hardtop roof. Great handling and nippy performance. Cheap to run. Very Rare.

Bad Points

Some rust problems on rear brake discs. I wouldn't want to be in a crash in one (very small with little or no safety features)

General Comments

I owned a Suzuki Capuccino as my only car for 8 years...... it was one of the funnest cars I have ever had the pleasure of driving!.

Although the small engine only puts out 63bhp its enough to give this lightweight car plenty of go..... I could keep up with and sometimes beat Mazda MX5s!. The rear wheel drive and fantastic steering feedback make the Cappuccino a joy to drive at the limit..... on twisty country roads it could keep up with much faster cars, only losing ground on long straights.

The boot is only large enough to store the three removeable roof panels so it won't suit anyone needing to transport furniture (buy a Volvo!). Talking of the roof this is one of the Cappuccinos most ingenious features..... the three panels allow you to run the car as a closed coupe, a T-bar, Targa or full convertible.

The Cappuccino is also cheap to run as it does an average of 36mpg (50mpg on a long motorway run) and qualifies for the cheapest road tax rate due to its miniture engine.

Overall a superb little car that I'd recomend to anyone looking for something fun and out of the ordinary!

Extremely accurate, Whilst the car lives up to all expectations performance wise, The lack of boot space is a drawback.

That is why its an ideal car for the husband to buy his wife.Once she had the roof down she can't fit in any shopping in.

    Spot on.
I owned one for 18 months (wife wrote it off,(and almost herself), no good on ice, easily bent).
Even better once speed limiter disabled, just watch out for front end lift at higher speeds (100 mph +). Yes it will do it with ease.
An overall Fantastic little car. 10+
