I adored my Megane which was sold due to circumstances, not the cars fault! Beautiful accelaration, 150+BHP. Never let me down. I love the drive of the Megane 2.0. It feels solid and doesn't sway in the wind as many cars tend to do. Can overtake with ease which is helpful in getting out of situations (ie a lorry pulling out on you on a motorway). I felt very safe driving the car. Deep throat exhaust and urring engine added to the personality of this beautiful vehicle
Developed a fault where it would jump out of gear whilst driving, but Renault could never find it on their diagnostic equipment as it was intermittant.
Love it!! The Renault Megane 2.0 Coupe has the highest safety rating for its class, including enforced side impact protection at the front, and automatic engine cut out switch in the event of an accident. I had to sell it for a manky Vauxhall estate (due to needing the boot space!). I shall be selling it for a Renault Laguna Estate soon. It may be French, but knowing my children and dogs are well protected whilst I am driving is invaluable. Highly recommended car.A1++++
