Hotel is central to the City. Easy to travel by car.
A visit to the Cape of Good Hope is a must, and also Table Mountain.
We were not expected when we arrived at the hotel, and we were shown to a hastily prepared room which we did not except. However, after complaining we were promptly moved to a much nicer room. Also, the receptionist took an instant disliking to us and would not speak to us during our stay because we refused to give her our credit card details for a stay that was booked & paid for months in advance.
South Africa was fantastic, and we plan to return there in the very near future. The Winchester Mansions Hotel in Cape Town is central to the city, unfortunately we weren't expected when we arrived and had to complain to get a nicer room than the one they hastily prepared for us, despite us having booked and paid for the room months in advance.
