Good Points

Awesome power, recaro interior, best engine for tuning, cheap to repair, great look's and really turn's head's in town centre's with the dump valve.


Bad Points

Bloody rust bucket's lol, heavy steering.


General Comments

I bought a Ford Escort RS Turbo S2 90 spec 12 month's ago my dream car ever since I was a kid. I paid 2 grand for her 89k documented, full service history 3 lady owners, every MOT from new, Clifford alarm with certificate's, faultless interior and thought it was mint or so it looked on the outside. Then MOT time, it failed on corrosion! After stripping it back to a shell to see how bad it was I was gutted to find it was as rotten as a peach. I am now 6 months on and is taking a hell of a long time to put right, I now know the S2 inside and out now, and although I have found out the hard way I wouldn't have any other car. My advice to any one who want's a Mark 4 to take someone with you who has a lot of experience with era Ford's to check the car is solid before you exchange your hard earned cash.
