Good Points

The screen is good, and it has all the user-friendly aspects of Sony Ericsson's.


Bad Points

It's already incredibly slow, and I've only had the phone for 3 months. My last SE got slow, but after nearly a year. I dread to think what this one will perform like in 6 months time.
Annoyingly, it has a habit of switching itself off.
And the camera turns on all too easily when in my pocket.


General Comments

I'm not a fan of the Sony Ericsson V600i mobile phone. I love Sony Ericsson phones, but I regret being talked into getting this by the call centre adviser.

    peirsd60.......I'm a virtual stranger to mobile phones so I'm unclear of your complaint of slowness. You seem to know what's what and as I shall be looking for a mobile phone for emergency purposes, perhaps you could give me a little advice. I just want a basic phone -- if there is such a thing -- as all the ones I've seen have facilities that I'll never use. If you could.......many thanks.

    Hey you complained that the phone was slow, well take it back to the place you got
    it and get another.
    Because you tellin me that all sony ericsons are slow well its probably you, because not every phone made by Sony ericson is slow mine certainly isn't.
    And also you said the camera comes on in your pocket, well put the keypad lock on hash and lock its a easy as that any way bibibibibib xxxxxxx Kimmy

    Hi,

    I cannot agree more. I have endless signal problems. When I receive calls, it goes straight to voicemail without even ringing. In general the phone is very user friendly.
