I was given the BaByliss Patrick Cameron Experts Drop Curl curling tongs for Christmas when I had waist length straight thick hair. They are the only hair tongs I have ever used that curled right up the length of the hair close into my roots, and looked natural. The clamp is tight so hair can be pulled more when being twisted around the shaft of the tongs, and the twirled design on the tongs assists hair to lay properly against the metal.

The heat setting is variable, but I found the hotter the better, especially with long hair. The curl stayed in all day and night, and I go clubbing regularly, so I desperately need the style to be long lasting!!! I have recently had my hair cut to mid-length, and I can still use these to perfection. Within a few seconds of holding the hair in the tongs a definite curl replaces even the straightest of hair.

Without a doubt, these are the one thing I would take on a desert island with me!! Move over straighteners!!
