Perfect sound reproduction of all musical sounds. LCD display. Touch sensitive keys. Solid 'real-feel' keys.
Bad Points
A bit pricy.
General Comments
Casio Privia PX-400R - I couldn't keep my piano after moving house so I purchased this keyboard so I could continue playing. Firstly, this is an expensive instrument. If you just want to bang out some tunes, go to Argos and get a nice keyboard for around £100. With the PX-400R, you get a good machine but it does cost more.
The good points are large. Weighted keys so it feels like a piano, touch response (the harder you press the keys, the louder it plays), a LCD display that shows lots of useful information, it plays fingered chords, single chords or full keyboard, it comes complete with a solid wooden music stand and much much more. Ok, it can play 256 tones, 120 rhythms, sing-along tunes and so on but the reason I bought it was simple note clarity. All the instruments are amazingly realistic - especially the piano and that alone was enough for me to splash out the £500 ticket.
If you are a beginner, this isn't for you. Get a cheap keyboard and see how you get on with it. If you are a piano player and want something similar to a piano, this is great.
